JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced hospitality shift leader to join us at Flour & Bean in Potter Heigham.
Objective: Helping the store to achieve maximum sales and profitability by performing duties to the company standards

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers outstanding customer experience at all times whilst maintaining a welcoming clean environment
• Product knowledge and confidently promote to enhance sales
• Assist manager in overseeing successful operation of store
• Clean As You Go
• Keep all work areas clean at all times
• Handcraft hot and cold beverages to brand standards
• Maintain high levels of Food Safety
• Bake products to brand standards whilst minimising wastage
• Ensure all wastage / breakages are recorded
• Undertake any ad hoc duties as required by the Manager
• Providing guidance to staff members and giving direction
• Deputising for and supporting Manager & Assistant Manager

Person Specification:

• Enjoys dealing with customers
• Well presented
• Able to oversee and assist junior staff members
• Well organised and enthusiastic
• Customer service focussed

We are looking for someone who takes pride in giving the highest level of service and works quickly and professionally. The site caters for many people, providing excellent food and great service. The duties for this role will include, serving customers in a polite and friendly manner, offering coffee choices, food preparation & baking off, ensuring kitchen, service and restaurant areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include cash handling, merchandising, and taking an active part in any unit sales promotions.

Part-time hours: 25 - 30 per week
