POSITION SUMMARY
As a Shift Leader Front Office at our iconic Hotel Cala di Volpe, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during your shift. You will lead and support the front office team, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that all front desk activities are carried out efficiently and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a front office, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High proficiency in English and Italian. Additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Success in this role requires creating a safe workplace, building positive relationships with colleagues, following company policies, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, and upholding quality standards. The Shift Leader Front Office will be active and on their feet, taking a hands-on approach to their work. This includes moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Performing these tasks well, along with other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors, is essential to providing excellent service to our guests and supporting our business.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front office team during your shift.
- Ensure that all front desk procedures, including check-in and check-out, are performed accurately and efficiently.
- Supply guests with directions and property information and accommodate guest requests by contacting appropriate staff if necessary.
- Follow up to ensure requests have been met.
- Process all payment types, vouchers, paid outs, and charges.
- Obtain manual authorizations and follow all accounting procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to front office staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact during your shift.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Support the team to reach common goals.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
