Focal points include: Driving excellence in customer service Maintaining company standards in product and facility specifications Reviewing food handling procedures Assessing operational processes The human resources responsibilities of a Shift Manager are limited to crew training and ongoing coaching and feedback for hourly employees. In addition, the Shift Manager may assume full responsibility for the opening and closing of the restaurant when management is unavailable. In these instances, the Shift Manager maintains administrative control of the restaurant but is not authorized to serve in a managerial capacity.Qualifications Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred 1 year of experience working in the quick service restaurant industry in management Completion of all BKC certification programs Demonstrates English language proficiency that enables speech expression clarity and proficient reading and verbal comprehension Demonstrates leadership skills Demonstrates formal understanding of the quick service industry and the core customer Recognizes and solves routine problems Develops knowledge and skills in basic tasks, practices and procedures within own area English Language Preferred Must have valid driver's license and reliable car for transportation Travel Required
