WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in managing large teams, ideally within a 3PL environment. You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure. With a passion for people’s development, you will have a proven ability to motivate, support, and grow your team, ensuring they reach their full potential. You will be confident leading change and driving continuous improvement, using your excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage shifting priorities and operational demands. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is essential, and you will be comfortable using MS Office such as Excel, to support your decision-making and reporting.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager to join our fantastic team based in Daventry. In this role, you will lead and support your team, foster a strong team spirit and ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into Senior Operations Manager your main areas of responsibility will be:
Oversee and coordinate daily operations in collaboration with the opposite Shift Manager.
Lead, inspire, and manage teams to drive high performance, productivity, and quality.
Foster a positive, proactive health & safety culture across the site.
Ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded in line with customer expectations.
Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing operational enhancements.
Proactively manage risks and resolve operational challenges.
Maintain accurate shift records and ensure compliance with all processes.
Promote best practices in stock handling to minimise loss, damage, and inefficiency.
This is a Monday to Friday role, however, flexibility is required with working hours and occasional weekends to meet operational needs.
