WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A proactive leader with proven supervisory or managerial experience
Operational experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Skilled at building relationships, resolving conflict and fostering team collaboration
Confident using IT systems and data to drive performance
IOSH Managing Safely, IEMA, or other relevant qualifications are a bonus – but not essential
Flexible, self-aware, and always looking for smarter, safer, more efficient ways of working

Responsibilities

Leading, coaching and motivating your shift team to meet safety, quality, and production targets
Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently
Driving a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards
Identifying and delivering improvements in processes, energy use, waste reduction and team development
Championing a “right-first-time” mindset and embedding a continuous improvement approach
Collaborating with wider site leadership to achieve business objectives and drive performance
Taking responsibility for HR matters, team performance and development
Acting as a key contact and decision-maker when deputising for the Production Manager
