Description Zalat Line Coach Job Description_9.2023 Line Coach-non exempt Location: Dallas, Houston, Austin,TX Job Type: Full Time or Part Time, Full Time Preferable Job Description The Line Coach is responsible for coaching and leading the day-to-day operational and financial excellence of Zalat by being a coach and a leader to their peers and demonstrating decision-making that supports operational excellence and the embodiment of Customer 4 Life Service, C4LS. A great line coach will: - Manage the cook line to drive the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed - Learn and complete operational support functions (i.e. purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, inventory) to ensure operational excellence and high financial performance - Coach and lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain our facilities and equipment to the highest standards - Responsible for doing daily tasks like Jolt list, PECs, and any other daily tasks assigned to management Job Specifications You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. You must understand all policies and procedures and show your team how to follow them. You must have gone through at least two weeks of Line Coach training at a Certified Training Location. After the two weeks, you must have completed all assigned Opus Course, signed off from the Certified Training Restaurant, and verified with the Director of Training or Training Coordinator • Supervising a team, at Zalat or elsewhere, with at least a year’s experience • Pay range will follow the non-exempt pay wage assigned for each region • Must interview with AL • Two weeks training at a Certified Training location, and signed off by CTR • Completed all Opus Courses • Skilled out by a Training Coordinator or Director of Training • Hold a valid Food Manager Safety Certification • Exhibiting strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Managing and adhering to schedules • Successful completion of a mandatory background check ACKNOWLEDGMENT: I acknowledge receipt of this position description and understand that it is not all-inclusive, and understand it is subject to change.
