Position Summary: The Shift Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of team members during a designated shift to ensure smooth operations, productivity, compliance with company policies, and excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to think critically under pressure, and a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges. Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and support a team of [insert number] staff members during assigned shifts. Execute shift planning and staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage. Maintain operational standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor team performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Handle and resolve customer or client concerns professionally and efficiently. Manage inventory, supplies, and shift-related reporting and documentation. Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with shift scheduling tools, MS Office Suite, and/or industry-specific software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in logistics, food service, manufacturing. Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards. Certified in First Aid/CPR or other safety programs (optional).
