Job Description
Join our newly established Seedcare facility as a Shift Manager and lead the manufacturing operations team in delivering excellence through safe, efficient, and compliant production. You’ll drive operational success while developing high-performing teams in this innovative segment of our business, with opportunities to grow your leadership career in a global organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in chemical plant/process operations
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations and practices
  • Computer proficiency with manufacturing systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Syngenta Codes of Practice and UK safety regulations
  • Execute production plans through effective resource allocation and prioritization
  • Lead operations team in maintenance, housekeeping, and 5S initiatives
  • Support the planning and safe execution of high risk maintenance activities
  • Develop and maintain team competence and performance
  • Drive accurate and timely communication across departments
  • Support on-site incident management
  • Lead Tier 1 Production meetings and manage escalations
