We are looking for an experienced Shift leader to join our management team, with knowledge of craft beer and barista skills. You must be available to work evenings and weekends and be here all year round, this is a permanent position, not term time only. We hire our upstairs rooms for private parties that sometimes run until 2am, so you need to be able to commute home safely at that time.
Our independent city centre cafe, pub and event space is proud to provide a sense of community, with rooms we hire out for meetings and parties, and products for sale from other small businesses. No day is the same with different events happening in our private rooms, locally sourced products to upsell and buffets to help prepare.
We have been on John Bright street for 12 years and well known on the independent/craft beer scene, if joining us at manager level it is desirable that you know us and have experience working in similar, independent businesses. We expect a lot from our team members in that we sell a broad range of products which need to be learnt about, so a passion for this is a must.
