JOB TITLE: SHIFT MATERIALS HANDLER

Location: Operations Department
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday–Friday (alternating shifts: 06:00–14:00 & 14:00–22:00)
Pay: £12.21 per hour (with an uplift for holders of a Flexi/Bendi FLT licence)

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in the UK. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient handling of materials that support our high-performance products. Your contributions will directly impact our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Loading and unloading production ovens
• Supplying raw materials to the production line
• Transferring raw materials, WIP, and finished goods around the premises
• Loading finished goods into trailers
• Receiving, booking in, and storing goods, including stock system updates
• Escalating stock issues and supporting with stock takes
• Strapping and labelling pallets ready for transportation
• Ensuring safe storage, handling and transportation of goods (including chemicals)
• Supporting production and warehouse colleagues when needed
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in line with 5S principles

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
• Current Counterbalance FLT licence with proven experience
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills
• A proactive, flexible approach with a strong work ethic

Desirable (but not essential):

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Experience with Sage 200 or similar systems
• Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-sigma principles
• Flexi/Bendi FLT licence (with pay uplift available)
