SHIFT PROCESS OPERATOR

We are recruiting for a Shift Process Operator at our West Thurrock site who are responsible for stock control and quality assurance, supply to customer requirements and for deliveries being met on time.

Experience:

• loading : 1 year (preferred)
• process operator: 1 year (preferred

· Use of Data Acquisition software to monitor the condition and parameters of tanker loading and stock
· Reading instruments and making adjustments to settings as required
· Manual operation of valves, pumps and set points.
· Taking scheduled samples for lab analysis.
· Supervision of goods in and out, including loading, unloading of road tankers and using forklift trucks.
· Physical data logging onto paper and computer records for archiving.
· Some manual work including housekeeping and replacing filters etc.
· Ensure that any problems are reported to the relevant supervisor/department immediately
· Ensure that personal protective clothing is worn at all times, and is in good order
· Ensure a thorough and efficient handover is completed by logbook and verbal
Hours: As this is a 24/7 site you are required to work on a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern which will include shifts covering nights and weekends and bank holidays
