SHIFT PROCESS OPERATOR

We are recruiting for a Chlor Alkali Shift Process Operator, who are responsible for overseeing the production process of a chemical plant facility. The goal of a Chlor Alkali process operator is to monitor equipment and improve the quality, efficiency and safety of the manufacturing plant. To minimise the impact of Human interface through higher training and Hazard awareness

Experience:

• process operator: 1 year (required

· Monitoring condition of process
· Data logging and archiving
· Stock management of sufficient resources to deliver planned activity
· Working closely with the Lab Department
· Supervision of goods in and out, including loading unloading of road tankers and using forklift trucks.
· Previous chemical process experience an advantage
· Attention to detail
· Good working knowledge of MS office applications
· Ensure that any problems are reported to the relevant manager/department immediately
· Ensure that personal protective clothing is worn at all times.
Hours: As this is a 24/7 site you are required to work on a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern which will include shifts covering nights and weekends and bank holidays
