Elevation Recruitment are working with a fast-paced manufacturer who are looking a number of for experienced, hands-on Shift Production Managers on a rotating shift pattern, to oversee manufacturing activities, drive standards and ensure operational excellence across the board.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Shift Production Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. With line management responsibility for Production Operatives, your focus will be on achieving production volumes whilst controlling waste, machinery parameters, people management duties and reporting into the Operations Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SHIFT PRODUCTION MANAGER INCLUDE:

• Leading shift production operations across multiple manufacturing units
• Manage production arrears and ensure OTIF (on-time, in-full) for customer order fulfilment with a Right First Time mentality
• Drive optimal performance of people, processes, and equipment in line with production targets, safety standards, quality expectations, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure appropriate workforce levels based on production demand
• Track and report on key manufacturing KPIs and production data, identifying areas for improvement
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture, maintaining full compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental regulations and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
• Promote a positive, productive working environment, leading by example and operating on the line if necessary
