Description Lead and supervise front-line production team members during assigned shift. Drive quality, efficiency, yield, and production targets. Coach, train, and develop team members and shift leaders. Manage performance, disciplinary actions, hiring, and terminations. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, empowerment, and retention aligned with Epi Breads values. Spend approximately 80% of time on the production floor providing hands-on leadership. Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety policies, food defense standards, and HACCP guidelines. Collaborate cross-functionally (scheduling, sales, plant leadership) to meet customer shipment deadlines. Identify and implement continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives. Maintain accurate daily production documentation. Requirements Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience; bakery experience preferred. Proven leadership experience supervising production teams. Strong communication skills (English required; Spanish preferred). Results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, food safety, and safety compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required); Adage knowledge a plus. Strong knowledge of product quality, packaging specifications, and production equipment. Ability to work long hours, weekends, and in a factory environment (heat, machinery, flour dust). Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
