Description Shift Supervisor 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Columbus, OH Position Summary: The Schnellecke Shift Supervisor is a salaried, exempt leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations during the assigned shift. This position ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while leading hourly team members to meet productivity, quality, and customer service goals. The Shift Supervisor plays a key role in driving operational excellence within a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise warehouse and logistics operations during the assigned 3rd shift. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures Manage staffing, workflow, and labor planning to meet operational demands Coach, train, and develop hourly team members; address performance and conduct issues Monitor productivity, quality, and service metrics; communicate results to management Resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives Participate in audits, inspections, and customer requirements as needed Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred Prior supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution required Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications Work Environment Must be able to work in a plant and office environment. Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and vibration, wet and humid weather conditions. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Bending and/or reaching may be required. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the shop floor to prevent injury to oneself or others.
