Allied Universal is seeking Security Shift Supervisor in Mississauga, Ontario.
Job Title: Security Shift Supervisor
Location: Mississauga, ON
Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00
Overview :
We are looking an experienced and highly skilled Security Shift Supervisor to oversee the security operations. The general purpose and function of the Shift Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a single shift at an Allied Universal®. client’s site.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role, preferably in high-security environment.
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • First Aid and CPR

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Security Team: Lead, manage, and supervise a team of security personnel to ensure efficient and effective security operations.
  • Access Control Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the access control system, ensuring proper access permissions are assigned and monitored.
  • Incident Reporting: Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with internal teams and external authorities as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact in case of emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or other safety-related matters.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for security staff on emergency procedures, access control protocols, and the use of security systems.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for any security-related queries or concerns from employees, contractors, or visitors.
