JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining efficient operations during your shift. Your ability to train and develop team members will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting; casual dining experience is a plus.
• Strong background in food service management with knowledge of food production techniques.
• Experience with staff training, development, and performance management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
• Leadership qualities with experience in team management and shift supervision.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, food safety regulations, and hospitality standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is preferred.

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
• Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient cash handling and transaction management.
• Train, develop, and mentor staff in various roles, including food handling, customer service, and kitchen management.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during your shift.
• Collaborate with upper management on budgeting, scheduling, and operational improvements.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
