JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, from food preparation to team management, while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
  • Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance service delivery.
