The spot

  • Operational control of daily supply performance (demand planning, procurement, inventory control) and quality performance (QM, incidents, audits) based on KPIs such as OOS, inventory coverage, delivery reliability and CAPA closure rate.
  • Professional and disciplinary management including monthly feedback sessions and weeklies
  • Identification and implementation of prioritized CI measures across both team areas, as well as bridging the gap between procurement and quality.
  • Development of the overall concept for the supplier and quality network (procurement strategy, supplier qualification, quality management system, IFS certification, regulatory governance); in operational cooperation with the Lead Buyer & Quality Manager.
  • Regular reporting of team performance to the Head of Operations, as well as communication of relevant topics with proactive solution proposals.

Ideally, you should bring the following with you*

  • Solid knowledge of supply chain management (demand planning, 3P manufacturing, production planning) and experience or insights into quality management/regulatory affairs, ideally gained in the FMCG or food sector.
  • Experience in managing supplier networks
  • Deep understanding of the value chain processes and the ability to quickly grasp and coordinate related topics.
  • Expertise in KPI-based management and performance monitoring 
  • Initial leadership experience, ideally across functions, paired with strong analytical thinking and communication skills.

Tasks

  • Organization and control of all processes of the outbound goods shift
  • Leadership and motivation of a team of approximately 60 employees
  • Onboarding of new colleagues and regular employee reviews
  • Final order processing in the warehouse management software Logis
  • Optimization of processes and procedures in the warehouse
  • Ensuring workplace safety and order
  • Support in daily operations: order picking, restocking, loading, goods receipt

  • Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable qualification
  • First management experience in a trading warehouse
  • Hands-on mentality; pitches in when needed.
  • Strong communication skills and authentic demeanor on equal terms
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Safe, deliberate action in challenging situations
  • Safe handling of warehouse management software and merchandise management systems, including technical equipment
  • Willingness to work permanent late shifts and weekends
