Reports To: General Manager / Assistant Manager

Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Lead and supervise the team during shifts, providing clear instructions and support.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to inform staff about daily specials, expected guests, and any relevant updates.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns to improve service quality.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Financial Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing cash registers, conducting cash outs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor sales and labour costs to help achieve financial targets.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning as required.
  • Food and Beverage Quality:
  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and presented according to the establishment’s standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and address any issues with the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Work closely with the management team to implement new policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational improvements and staff performance.
