Shift Supervisor in Thessaloniki | Careers at Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece Shift Supervisor Posting Location : Location GR-Thessaloniki Category Engineering Position Type Full-Time Seniority Level Associate Overview TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Shift Supervisor for our Thessaloniki Plant. The position reports to the Production Manager. The primary scope of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of the plant, monitoring all phases of the production process and coordinating the work of the shift staff in rotating shifts, to meet production standards, always according to Health, Safety &Environmental Rules. Responsibilities Coordinate activities of production crews to produce clinker and cement according to quality control specifications and plant production goals Inspect the plant daily to ensure all machinery is working properly and safely; Identify production and process problems and troubleshoot with the shift crew or the maintenance department Prioritize, assign, and communicate job duties to employees working on the shift; control the work program as permitted by the needs of the department and in accordance with company policies Oversee the work performed by staff and contractors as required for each job, to ensure completion in a timely and correct manner Develop, train, and motivate subordinates or colleagues to ensure a productive work environment and high levels of efficiency and satisfaction Ensure an adequate level of inventory of raw materials for clinker and cement Prepare necessary reports to inform other functions about the performance of the shift including status of production operations, problems and adjustments being made to meet production goals Follow the operational instructions to keep all equipment running and producing product in specification Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in assigned work areas Always maintain safe and clean work area; Ensure workplace safety through implementation, adherence, and enforcement of company business standards, as well as safety and development programs; Plan, coordinate and ensure safe operation of subcontractors Qualifications TEI Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, TEI in Infrastructure Projects, or related field, with appreciated experience in construction sites Proven supervisory experience (5+ years) in plant or industrial environments, with expertise in leading teams within rotating shift operations Proficient planning, organization, and time-management abilities Ability to work rotating shifts without direct supervision Ability to communicate with internal and external parties in a collaborative, positive manner Safety-minded and team-oriented attitude Proactive attitude toward solving problem Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written) Excellent command of MS Office Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable) What we offer Private health insurance Pension plan Annual checkup Performance bonus Prepaid cards for supermarket Learning and Development opportunities Internships and summer schools for employee children Wellness programs and special offers At TITAN we provide equal opportunities for employment, prohibiting any kind of discrimination.
