• Monday–Thursday: 21:00–06:00
• Friday–Sunday: 18:00–06:00 (12-hour shifts)

ROLE OVERVIEW

Step into a pivotal leadership role at AstraZeneca Macclesfield as Shift Team Leader – Warehouse. You will drive excellence in logistics, inspire high-performing teams, and contribute directly to delivering life-changing medicines. In this role, you’ll lead and develop a talented workforce in a fast-paced warehouse environment, balancing efficiency, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team Leadership & Development: Guide, coach, and motivate your team to excel. Champion a collaborative and respectful culture where individual growth is supported and achievements are celebrated.
• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring robust processes, accuracy in inventory controls, and reliable, timely deliveries.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce best practices in site safety and compliance, ensuring all operations meet cGMP, SHE, SOX, and AstraZeneca’s demanding quality standards.
• Resource & Budget Management: Manage resources and support optimal use of warehouse assets, always mindful of sustainable, cost-effective operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Cultivate curiosity and embrace new approaches that improve efficiency, quality, and safety across every team and process.
