We are looking for a dynamic and client-oriented Ship Agency Executive to join our team and represent IMGS with professionalism and excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in ship agency, shipping operations, or port logistics.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Knowledge of port operations, shipping documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with shipping systems is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for vessel owners, charterers, and clients.
  • Coordinate port calls, including vessel arrival, berthing, and departure formalities.
  • Liaise with port authorities, customs, immigration, and terminal operators.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation for vessel and cargo handling.
  • Provide daily updates and operational reports to principals and clients.
  • Address client queries and manage service delivery expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth.
  • Handle financial matters related to disbursement accounts, invoices, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
