Description Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring a Ship Cost Estimator to support a U.S. Navy program office providing cost analysis and estimation support for aircraft carrier maintenance and modernization efforts. The selected candidate will provide analytical and technical support in the development, management, and validation of cost-related data associated with lifecycle maintenance, modernization, and availability planning. You will support Government requirements related to Class Maintenance Plans (CMP), Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWP), and maintenance history databases to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting. We are seeking a motivated, results-driven professional with experience in ship maintenance and data management who can organize complex information and present findings clearly for evaluation and action. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support development, revision, and validation of program office documentation, including: Aircraft Carrier Class Maintenance Plan (ACCMP) Manual Expanded Ship’s Work Breakdown Structure (ESWBS) Manual Process Instructions Support development and management of Class Maintenance Plans (CMP) and Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWPs) for lifecycle maintenance and modernization Integrate cost-related data associated with assessments, maintenance requirements, inspections, certifications, modernization, and services Conduct end-of-availability reviews to validate completion of BAWP items and associated cost impacts Update M&SWP (or similar systems) and maintenance history databases using Availability Work Package (AWP) completion data, including financial and material history Develop, maintain, and report cost-related metrics and performance indicators Collect, organize, and analyze cost, schedule, and maintenance data to support program decision-making Support lifecycle cost analysis and reporting for aircraft carrier maintenance and modernization efforts Assist in the preparation of reports, briefs, and presentations for leadership Respond to data calls, cost inquiries, and stakeholder requests Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of cost and maintenance data Requirements REQUIREMENTS: U.S. Citizenship required. Candidate must have or be eligible for a Secret Clearance 5+ years professional experience Preferred Experience: Experience supporting aircraft carrier or naval ship maintenance programs Experience with Navy systems such as M&SWP or similar maintenance databases Experience with cost estimating methodologies and lifecycle cost analysis Familiarity with ESWBS, CMP, and BAWP processes Experience developing metrics, reports, and data visualizations These positions are contingent upon award of contract. “Contingent” offers for employment may stipulate those one or more requirements be satisfied before final commitment between candidate and Tamayo Federal is established; namely, award of contract to the Tamayo Federal Team.
