Position Type: Full-time, Office-based (with occasional vessel visits)
Job Description
Pegasus Marine Services LLC is seeking an experienced Ship Technical Superintendent to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant technical management of our oil & gas carriers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor vessel movements and performance on a daily basis.
  • Supervise operations and ensure vessel condition, maintenance, and compliance with company policies, ISM Code, classification society rules, flag state, port state, and international maritime regulations.
  • Manage all technical and operational issues, including correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and advice to the HSE and Operations Departments.
  • Devise, agree, and monitor technical budgets for assigned vessels.
  • Prepare dry-docking specifications, arrange spares and planned jobs in advance, and manage cost comparisons.
  • Liaise directly with vessel owners, charterers, and other third parties regarding technical and operational matters.
  • Conduct briefing, debriefing, and appraisal of Masters, Chief Engineers, and other senior officers.
  • Participate in crew management, including recruitment, briefing, and evaluation.
  • Review, respond to, and follow up on SIRE or other inspection observations/deficiencies to ensure timely close-out.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) – highlighting relevant Gas Carrier and Oil Tanker experience
  • Complete sea service record
  • Copy of CDC
  • Copy of valid National COC, Commonwealth Countries COC, or UK COC

Skills & Qualifications

  • Seafaring or shore-based experience in oil & gas carriers (LPG/LNG preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of shipboard engineering systems, maintenance, and dry-dock planning.
  • Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, SOLAS, and classification society rules.
  • Ability to manage budgets and provide cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for interaction with crew, management, owners, and external stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED24,000.00 - AED26,000.00 per month
