Ensure Pre-Move Survey is received and processed in accordance to military deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in the moving industry preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. Must have strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Pre-Move Survey is received and processed in accordance to military deadlines.
Update DPS and GMMS with pre-move survey weight, dates, and address changes.
Enter and monitor all preapprovals for accessorial services in accordance to the 400NG and International Tender.
Interface with Military Transportation Offices, vendors, customer service, and operations regarding preapproval status.
Assist Billing and Accounts Payable departments with resolving preapproval issues.
Process and distribute all Government Bill of Lading documents
Verify transit times to ensure the Required Delivery Date is accurate on all Government Bill of Lading documents.
Update system with notes regarding changes and communication
