JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipment Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipment processes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including e-commerce logistics.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is essential.
• Familiarity with e-commerce operations and order fulfillment processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems is preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills are required for inventory management and reporting purposes.

• Manage daily shipping operations, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff in the use of equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Utilize AS400 and MRP systems to track inventory levels, manage orders, and optimize fulfillment processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of shipping equipment and warehouse facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate order picking and fulfillment strategies.
• Analyze shipment data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and order statuses using basic math skills for reporting purposes.
