Job Title: Shipper 1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm Mon-Friday) Department: Warehouse Accountability: This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor   Responsibilities: •Process orders for export and domestic shipping •Oversee outgoing shipments to assure accuracy, completeness, and condition •Perform data entry in ERP system to process shipment •Obtain freight quotes and schedule the most cost effective carrier •Investigate shipping discrepancies •Prioritize shipments in order to meet shipping schedules •Load and unload trucks •Stay current on all proper shipping methods and requirements •Verify and keep records of outgoing shipments (e.g. bills of Lading, pack lists, invoices, etc.) •Maintain proper housekeeping of the warehouse zones in the 75 and 55 Jacksonville facilities •Operate all shipping equipment (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.) properly and safely in a limited space environment •Follow all department and safety procedures of the facility and warehouse zones   Requirements: •High School Diploma or GED, Technical Certification, a plus •1+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment •Experience using an ERP system, preferred •Experience using FedEx and UPS Shipping Software, preferred •Experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet-jacks, carts, etc.), preferred •Must have a valid driver’s license •Must be able to perform basic mathematic computations •Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English •Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively •Must possess a strong attention to detail •Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. •Ability to push-pull a maximum of 1200 lbs. with a manual rolling assist •Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and sit for more than 1 hour at a time •Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus •Proficient computer skills •General knowledge of workplace safety, a plus   Work Environment – Manufacturing: •Chemicals, (See SDS) •Machinery •Dust •Noise •Protective clothing and equipment may be required   Company Details Havis is at the forefront of revolutionizing industries by unlocking the full potential of technology to drive productivity and enhance safety through innovative mobility solutions.
