SHIPPER AND RECEIVER + EQUIPMENT REPAIR PERSON IN CALGARY

Family Business in Calgary looking for Shipper and Receiver + handy and willing to learn Equipment Repair, located in Calgary.
The Candidate must be reliable and willing to learn. MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience in shipping and receiving skids using a forklift. Candidate must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills and be able to work alone and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with troubleshooting and not shy away from mechanical issues that may arise. At times this position requires standing, bending, lifting, and good manual dexterity as well as comfort with using basic hand tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education and two (2) years in shipping and receiving with some related experience with digital, promotional and large format printers an asset.
• Willing to learn - hands on
• Forklift skills
• Strong skills in software applications - including Word, Excel, etc.
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Superior oral and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail

The following would be considered an asset:

• Experience using the following large-format digital printers and equipment: flatbed printer, roll to roll printer, vinyl plotter, laminator, digital cutter and router table
• Knowledge of industry substrates and films

• Establish and maintain a great working relationship with existing and new customers
• Performing preventative maintenance and daily cleaning
• Troubleshooting printer & mechanical malfunctions, offsite work may be required
• Forklift operation
• Restocking supplies
• Pulling supply orders and helping customers as required
• Performing other related duties as assigned; garbage disposal and other general warehouse duties.
