West Coast Robotics is a leading specialist in the installation and repair of robotics technology in the dairy industry. Due to a promotion, we are currently seeking a Shipper and Receiver in our Agassiz location. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a strong work ethic and high level of detail orientation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience using hand tools
• Experience in warehouse shipping and receiving role
• Must have basic computer skills and be willing to learn our programs

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with MS Great Plains (GP) is an asset
• Forklift certification an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self directed, resourceful, motivated and results oriented
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure
• Great attention to detail with the ability to focus on the task at hand
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Familiarity with agricultural industry is an asset

Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, you will perform a multitude of tasks, which include the following:

• Picking parts for projects and site re-stocking
• Loading and unloading shipments using forklift
• Receiving shipments into warehouse
• Preparing orders for shipment to satellite locations
• Organization of warehouse area
• Some heavy lifting may be required
• General laborer duties
• Operation of all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
