Description

SUMMARY Prepares shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Pulls parts from printed pick lists. * Oversees planning and building of kits for various customers. * Moves product from various building with non-cdl truck including loading and unloading of truck. * Packs and crates orders for shipment. * Attaches shipping instructions to outgoing materials. * Performs daily safety inspection of department forklifts. * Safely operates industrial forklift truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products in the shipping department. * Inspects shipments for correct materials, packing, tagging, and handling instructions. * Completes inventory audits when necessary. * Cleans and organizes work area. * Assists with the receiving function as needed. Responsibilities

The Shipper is responsible for pulling parts, building kits, and packing orders for shipment according to specifications. They also operate industrial forklifts to move materials and perform daily safety inspections of equipment.
