Description OGS Industries is a manufacturing company that is currently looking for a full-time Shipper position. Standard shop hours are (4) ten-hour days – Mon-Thurs. 6:00am – 4:30pm, with occasional overtime on Fridays as needed. Essential Duties To preserve, handle and package material and/or products as specified by customer requirements Build skids for shipments by pulling stock, wrapping and strapping Load and unload trucks with tow motor Stock inventory Requirements Skill Requirements Must be able to list up to 50# Ability to weight count Basic mathematics Knowledge of packaging skills, weight, size limitations Must be able to drive a forklift Computer Skills Steel toe shoes required
Responsibilities
The Shipper is responsible for handling, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment according to customer requirements. They will also manage inventory and operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
