OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver and Forklift Operator to join our client’s team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and a strong understanding of inventory management systems. EXPERIENCE

• Previous shipping & receiving experience is mandatory (2+ years)
• Previous experience with order picking and packing (3+ years)
• Certified Forklift operator
• Capable of multitasking - such as, operating Forklift, order picking, packaging, etc.
• Must be able to physically bend, lift, twist and rotate materials and be physically able to lift heavy items weighing 50lb or more as needed.
• Must have basic computer skills with entering inventory into WMS
• Knowledge of packaging standards and techniques for various products.
• Ability to operate order pickers and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks accurately under pressure.

• Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload shipments safely.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software for tracking inventory.
• Picking and packing orders
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Entering inventory into system
• Inspect packaging of products securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform order picking tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all materials are stored correctly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping targets and deadlines.
• Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts and order verification.
• Assist with e-commerce order processing as needed.
