Bloom Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our client’s tight-knit and dynamic team of professionals.
Our client is an industry leading building materials company that specializes in providing architectural railing solutions to businesses across Canada. Canadian owned, and established in 1960, with locations in Ontario and the USA, they are a second-generation family-owned business that values integrity, professionalism, initiative, dependability, collaboration, creativity, accountability, and leadership.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday onsite position based in North Burnaby, with a shift time of 8:00am to 4:30pm PST.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving functions of the warehouse. As an important contributing member of the team, you will be trained on all aspects of this multifaceted role, including shipping and receiving systems and processes, quality control, basic product testing, and providing strong customer service and product knowledge to walk-in customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 or more years of experience in warehousing position within a busy warehouse environment.
• Current forklift certification required: SDCB Class 5 and SUNA Class 2.
• Valid First Aid certification required: OFA Level 1 or equivalent.
