About this role Viessmann Climate Solutions is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to ensure timely, accurate, and safe, movement of material and/or product within the warehouse. The Shipper/Receiver needs to be flexible to work in any other areas of the production or assembly and maintain area cleanliness. This is an onsite role Monday to Friday 1st shift at our Waterloo ON location. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks using forklift and/or manual lifting of products Verify orders shipped or received, data entry of product in SAP or other systems Select and prepare products in the warehouse, i.e., packaging, skid assembling of orders and processing bills of lading Assemble large and small products i.e., from light assembly; packaging to larger sub- assembly production Continuous organization of product in the warehouse and assembly areas to maximize warehouse space and efficiency Work and operate machinery in a safe manner, i.e. forklifts Maintain an organized clean warehouse and work areas Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED 6 months of basic computer and printing skills 1 year plus experience in shipping, receiving, retail or warehousing Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, i.e., heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the entire shift Willing and able to obtain lift truck certification Preferred Qualifications Organizational skills Shipping, receiving and assembling experience Self-starter and taking pride in completing work accurately and on time Collaborative and teamwork skills Safety conscientious working habits and practice Experience with MRP system, preferably with SAP Additional information Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada. No visa sponsoring available. Pay Range The expected hourly salary range for this role is between $23.00 and $46.00. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicant’s geographic location, market data/range, skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and/or other relevant considerations. This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, etc., as well as possible RRSP matching. Other Compensation This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.
