As a Shipper-Receiver reporting to the Parts Manager, you’ll ensure efficient service, maintaining up-to-date inventory. Responding to internal customer requests, you’ll play a vital role in the department, providing fast and efficient service, tracking inventory, and optimizing the distribution of received equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of industrial parts.
  • Experience in the industrial equipment or machinery sector is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the Office suite and ERP systems is an asset.
  • Hard-working, versatile, and motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to shop technicians’ parts requests and process necessary parts for repairs.
  • Place supplier orders for parts and bulk products and receive and unload parts upon carrier arrival.
  • Process incoming emails, integrate supplier orders into the computerized system, and verify/inventory received parts.
  • Keep track of pending orders, prepare, and dispatch customer merchandise, and handle inter-branch transfers.
  • Sort and maintain inventory, replenish shelves, and perform daily/annual inventory updates.
  • Keep warehouse workspaces tidy and offer support to workshop technicians when needed.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
