GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

To receive, organize and ship products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Operating a Counter-balance Lift Truck to unload from trailers, parked in warehouse doors, either boxed office furniture or furniture on pallets and deliver and place such material in racking bins to be staged for subsequent picking.
• Operating a Counter-balance Lift Truck to pick either boxed office furniture or furniture on pallets and deliver such material to be staged for loading on to, or to load onto trailers parked at warehouse doors.
• Scan product before loading to ensure data is accurate (correct customer, destination, etc) Keep work area clean.
• Follow safe work practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Constant attention to detail for both safety reasons and correct loading of product for shipping.
• Shipping area is active with movement - onloading and offloading of product, forklifts, etc.
• Cooperation with others is essential. Tasks are repetitive.
