Job Title: Shipper/Receiver    Job Summary:    The Shipper/Receiver role is responsible for shipping/receiving agricultural parts and machinery and following company quality standards and in adherence to daily production schedules    Responsibilities:  * Ensure the accuracy and quality of shipping and receiving contents compared to packing slips, and transfer orders.  * Follow standard work procedures for shipping.  * Ensure the timely and accurate delivery or route of materials to other departments.  * Maintain quality records for reporting and note packing slips discrepancies.  * Coordinate with day/night shift regarding the completion of all appropriate paperwork and responsibilities.  * Train new warehouse associates and existing warehouse associates whenever necessary.  * Follow standard operating procedures and quality control procedures.   * Operate forklift in a safe manner.  * Actively participate in continuous improvements, lean initiatives, and other related activities.  * Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures.    Academic/Educational Requirements:  * High school diploma or equivalent is preferred     Required Skills/Experience: * Shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing environment preferred.  * Ability to operate forklift   * Basic computer skills   * Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device  * Ability to work independently and in a team setting  * Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided)  * Highly organized, proactive, can work independently with minimal supervision   * Excellent time management skills   * Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal   * Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail   * Physically demanding – bending, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time     What Linamar Has to Offer:   * Competitive Compensation * Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc.  * Opportunities for career advancement. * Sustainability Council * Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.  * Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.   About Us:   At Salford Group, a Linamar Company, we are industry leaders in agricultural equipment innovation, committed to advancing farming practices through precision technology.
