Description
We are looking for a Shipper Receiver to join our growing team. Come kick-start your career with us today! * Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm * Starting rate is $24-$25 based on experience Things you will do: Inspect incoming materials to specifications outlined Troubleshoot and resolve material discrepancies Perform administrative duties related to inventory control including cycle-counting Use equipment to handle materials such as pallet jacks, forklift etc. Effectively deal with customer / supplier shipping requests and arrange couriers Ensure goods are shipped in the most economical manner possible Ensure goods shipped are properly packaged and made ready for transport Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation Manage inventory and shipping materials and supplies What you have: 1+ years of shipping experience required Materials handling certification or equivalent work experience Valid Forklift Certificate Grade 12 or equivalent work experience Familiar with: Transportation of Dangerous Goods Overhead Crane Use & Rigging of Cranes Working knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment Who are you?
