JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a well-organized inventory. This role requires proficiency in various warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, packaging, and utilizing warehouse management systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in shipping & receiving roles.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment practices.
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks is essential.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory tracking are required.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and AS400 software is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment while adhering to quality standards.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Manage order fulfillment processes in accordance with e-commerce requirements.
• Perform inventory stocking and organization within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to manage inventory data effectively.
• Conduct basic math calculations for order quantities and stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating equipment in the warehouse environment.
• Assist in packaging products for shipment to ensure they are secure and undamaged during transit.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
