JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated shipper and receiver to join our busy industrial paint and sandblasting shop. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle large-scale projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a shipper and receiver, preferably in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial shop environment.
• valid forklift operator certificate required
• Ability to operate various equipment, including forklifts and over head cranes heavy duty equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

• Efficiently receive all incoming steel, parts and materials for sandblasting, painting and all other incoming shipments.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Operate forklifts, over head cranes, or other heavy machinery efficiently to safely to load and unload large heavy materials and finished products..
• Ensure accurate packaging of products for shipment to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving operations.
