Job Details Job Location: DURANGO, CO Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Description TITLE: SHIPPING 1 PAY GRADE: A STATUS: REGULAR, FULL-TIME FLSA: NON-EXEMPT POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for performing daily activities in the shipping department to facilitate the shipping schedule. REPORTS TO: Shipping Supervisor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Use electronic devices, such as hand scanners and computers, to enter pulled items into inventory tracking systems. 2. Pull items from bin locations according to pick ticket to complete each order with speed and accuracy similar to other Level 1 employees. 3. Prepare documents, such as bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials. 4. Record shipment data, such as weight, and products for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes. 5. Pack, seal, and label products for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and weigh scales. 6. Load trucks, using work devices, such as hand-truck, according to route information and proper trucking schedule. 7. Ensure shipping area is kept clean and orderly. 8. Follows all safety rules. 9. Work in other departments as assigned. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Ability to work in a sitting or standing position throughout the shift and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 2. Good hand-eye coordination. 3. Ability to follow verbal instructions. Qualifications
