Description POSITION SUMMARY: Receive material, prep for production and shipping, and ship materials. REPORTS TO: Shipping & Receiving Manager SUPERVISES: N/A ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Loading and unloading materials Identifying materials for production and sorting accordingly Accurate recording of materials Banding materials Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes. Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferred but not required. Good work record and practices COMPETENCIES: Ability to properly drive and utilize a forklift. Ability to perform all physical labor tasks. Self-starter that takes initiative along with analytical skills Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs. Exposure to weather conditions that may include extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions, and loud noises Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual Acuity: Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to making general observations of the facility. Responsibilities

The primary duties involve receiving materials, preparing them for production and shipping processes, and executing the shipment of materials. This includes loading, unloading, identifying, sorting, recording, and banding materials as required.
