This Position reports to:
Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor
The shipping and logistics clerk is responsible for supporting the team in charge of shipping products and parts to the organization’s customers according to a well-established process. They must also ensure compliance with the rules governing this area of activity as well as the compliance policies determined by ABB Canada.

WHAT IT TAKES TO RUN WHAT RUNS THE WORLD

We are looking for a rigorous and versatile person who enjoys working in a team and has a strong sense of responsibility. You are organized and show a great sense of initiative.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, along with a college-level education in a relevant field.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Bilingualism in English and French. French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with customers outside Quebec.
  • Experience with SAP (an asset).
  • Ability to keep up with a fast pace.
Responsibilities
  • Take charge of the preparation slips.
  • Support the team in various tasks related to shipping and logistics.
  • Select the carrier in accordance with rules and procedures, based on the products and customers.
  • Prepare shipping documents.
  • Update internal computerized systems and ensure data entry of completed transactions.
  • Prepare transport and customs documents.
  • Send transport and customs documents to the various stakeholders (customers, carriers, customs, internal departments).
  • Any other tasks related to the nature of the activities.
