Central Concrete and Flooring Accessories offers exceptional supplies and accessories to our customers. We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Shipping and Receiving. This role will ensure the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse facility. The employee will be responsible for all tasks associated with shipping, receiving, and order picking. There will also be frequent interactions with customers and delivery drivers, requiring effective communication skills and customer service when preparing their orders. This position also requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role or similar warehouse environment preferred.
• Customer service experience is an asset.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
• Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
• Forklift certification would be an asset.
  This is a full-time, hourly position in a high-paced environment that may require overtime and weekend work if needed.

• Operate a Forklift in a safe manner to move received product and prepare product for shipping.
• Verify product expiration codes.
• Lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures.
• Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
• Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Sort and distribute incoming shipments.
• Maintain organized warehouse, shipping and receiving area, and yard according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform customer service tasks as needed.
• Interact with both walk-in and telephone customers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the organization.
