With multiple locations in Hamilton, we are a busy warehousing and distribution service provider.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping & Receiving clerk for a maternity leave contract, with potential to join our team permanently based on organizational needs. The right candidate will help us continue to safely grow and best serve our customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient with computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with TMW is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve.
  • Analytical and results driven.
  • Ability to work occasionally at other Company facilities in the area (such as for vacation coverage).
  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

· Handle all customer service matters, such as providing proof of delivery, bills of lading, inventory and activity reports, etc.
· Monitor the progress of all customer requests and provide updates accordingly.
· Enter shipping, receiving and other activities into inventory management systems.
· Maintain accurate inventory records for all customers.
· Remain aware of customer needs and requirements for reporting and activities.
· Create shipping releases, work orders, bills of lading, etc.
· Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
· Production scheduling: build and schedule loads of materials to and from the warehouse, staging, value-added services, etc.
· Monitor and adjust scheduled activity as necessary.
· Various data-entry tasks.
· Other duties as reasonably assigned.
