Description The Conrad Company, a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business is seeking an onsite, full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join the GreasePoint facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. GreasePoint helps people in Manufacturing and Construction with lubrication and fire suppression systems. The GreasePoint team is committed to offering technical excellence, superior customer service, and world-class solutions. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will play a pivotal role managing day-to-day warehouse operations and work cohesively with the Field Service, Outside Sales and Customer Service departments. Responsibilities: · Receive all incoming shipments within 1 day. · Pull, Pack, Label, and Ship all orders in stock within 1 day. · Forward all shipping paperwork to AR/Accounting. · Pull orders for field installation and service including pump preparation and valve preassembly. · Cut Greasepoint hose to 50-foot lengths, prefill with grease, and stock. · Deliver parts’ orders to local customers as needed. · Help incoming walk-up customers with part replacements. · Assist with cycle counting to ensure correct inventory levels. · Assist customer service with phone back up when needed. · Re-stock left over parts from field installations. · Assist with re-stocking of field service trucks. Requirements · High School diploma or equivalent preferred · Valid driver’s license · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds · Proficient in UPS World Ship, FedEx, or other relevant logistic tools · Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, and Excel · Experience working with an ERP system · Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and in a fast-paced environment · Highly detail-oriented · Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively · Works well in a team setting The Conrad Company offers a competitive compensation package including 401(k) Plan, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurance, and PTO.
