Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Shipping and receiving activities of all materials at the facility to support the timely shipment of products to best meet the needs of our customers.

  • Prepare items for shipment,
  • Load & unload inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Responsible for material movement throughout the facility.
  • Prepare skids for shipment
  • Responsible for material placement and storage
  • Perform oversight of the daily forklift truck checklist and safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of warehousing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be organized, able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
  • Must have a high attention to detail. Transaction accuracy and the accuracy of data reporting is required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
