Description Reports To The Shipping and Receiving Technician will report to the Shipping and Receiving Lead. Job Summary The Shipping and Receiving Technician is responsible for packing, shipping, receiving, and unpacking products at Electrical Power Products, Inc. Responsibilities and Duties Receive and unpack shipment deliveries. Manually maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Operate a forklift and pallet jack. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries, and sorts and stocks receivables. Collaborate and communicate with the Procurement Department, Logistics and Planning Coordinator, Project Managers, and Project Specialists. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Maintain a clean and neat area. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use computers to complete assigned tasks. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights up to 10 feet off the ground. Ability to use various tools including various types of saws, nail gun, tape measure, etc. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements Continuous speaking, hearing, and visual (including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) effort. Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling. Commonly lifting/moving of up to 40 lbs. individually. Occasionally lifting/moving 50-100 lbs. with assistance. Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
