Description Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $19.00/hour Start Date: ASAP Openings: 1 Job Source USA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving / Shipping Specialist to join its team in a family-oriented, team environment. This position is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the plant, maintaining accurate inventory, preparing shipments, and completing required documentation. Job Duties Safely operate material handling equipment, including: Sit-down propane forklifts Stand-up high-reach electric forklifts Overhead cranes Other warehouse/material handling equipment Move, pick, and place materials throughout the plant Place pallet loads of metal fasteners weighing over 2,500 lbs. in rack locations more than 21 feet high Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections on equipment and request maintenance as needed Maintain accurate inventory counts and locations during all material movement Use counting scales for shipping and receiving transactions Verify part numbers and descriptions to ensure correct orders are pulled and shipped Safely load and unload trucks while accounting for all incoming and outgoing merchandise Prepare parts for shipment to customers, vendors, and stock by tagging, banding, boxing, assembling, and cleaning according to ISO procedures Complete shop forms, data collection, job tracking cards, work orders, bills of lading, and packing slips Monitor shipping supplies such as boxes and pallets Keep warehouse clean and organized Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma required Must be able to communicate in English Valid driver’s license required Must be able to work well in a team environment Must be able to meet deadlines and take responsibility for documentation Must be able to read a tape measure Must be detail-oriented with minimal errors Must have basic computer skills Physical Requirements Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
